MY FIRST WEEK DIET ROUTINE

Hi everyone, it's been awhile, was out of network range, but i'm back. I've brought the exact diet schedule i used for the first week of my weight-loss programme. Please note that this diet schedule isn't so rigid and can be altered with personal consultation with reference to individual preferences, but this was what my first week looked like.


Feel free to ask any questions about calorie values and i'll surely answer. I formulated this diet routine based on the basic body requirements which are carbohydrate, proteins, and vitamins. Please note that to get the calorie value for any cereal, check the pack. Divide the calorie content on the pack by the cereal calorie target in the diet schedule, that would tell you the exact number of places you would need to divide the cereal to get an approximate calorie value (If this confuses you, simply send me the calorie value of the pack of cereal you are going to use and i'll do the math for you in the comment section). To prevent monotony so that you don't get bored with one type of cereal, or fruit, mix it all up, but make sure you stick to the calorie target per meal. Alright, here it is:



BREAKFAST
Kelloggs Fruit n Fibre Cereal/Kelloggs Bran/Oats, Skimmed  Milk, lots of water. (The cereal should be about 300 calories and the milk should make up the remaining 80calories)
Calorie Target should be approximately 380
(Note that the "/" sign means "OR")

MID-MORNING SNACK
A medim-sized apple (Any fruit of your choice)
Calorie Target should be approximately 70


LUNCH
Beans (cooked without oil)/Fish/An Egg/
Calorie Target should be approximately 400

AFTERNOON SNACK
2 Carrots
Calorie Target should be approximately 50

DINNER
Fruit Salad (any fruit of your choice)/ Vegetable Salad
Calorie Target should be approximately 300


Daily Calorie Target should be approximately 1200

  10. I weight 74kg and my height is 5feet 11inches. I'm size 12 I guess but I want to be a size 10. Can you help me calculate my BMI so i can know where to start. I haven't started with the routine yet but want to as soon as I know my BMI. Thanks for your blog.

Hi Chika, from the height you gave me, u're a tall person, your BMI is 22.8 which is normal cos the normal BMI range for your height is between 18.5 - 25 and you are also within your ideal weight range which is between 60.2kg and 81.3kg. However if u insist on losing weight and dropping a dress size, u may have to lose about 6-10kg to achieve that. that's still within your ideal weight range so there won't be any fear of you being under weight. i need you to tell me if you have ever worked out before, how many kg you plan to lose, and how many hours you plan to devote to working out each day. looking forward to hearing from you.   12. Hi Bubu, I checked my weight this morning and i dropped 1kg but i guess dat is because i did not do any exercise as there was no much time. However, i would like to know what meals you would recommend for this week.

Hello bubzille,am so much in tears rite away cos yu were way far fatter dan me nd yu look sexy nd attractive now.....yu really must help me....I weigh 100kg nd am like 5ft 4inches....I get insult from every1 bcus of my fat nd ws so inspiring wen I saw ur b4 nd after pics........I must lose dis weigh by force by fire oh.cnt c any follow button nd pls guild me oh....am size 14/16...so ws my BMI?waiting 4 ur reply

    1. Hi Koko, your ideal weight range is 48.9kg - 66.1kg. i need you to think of what you want your final weight to be, and tell me how much weight you want to lose.   14. Hello Buzille, Thanks for taking the time to reply. I actually want to lose exactly 10kg, i kinda believe that should drop my dress size to a 10. I almost never exercise but i could start now that i know exactly how much weight i need to lose. Considering this, i would love to know if the diet piece on the blog works for me or i need something different and also how much exercise i would need if i expect to shed this 10kg in 2months. Hi Chika, its nice to hear from u again, the 2-day preparatory diet plan, and the first week plan works for everyone, the one i gave Ify could work for you too, but i always advice people to do it with fruits they like, so that they could actually enjoy d diet and it won't be such a bore. i'll be away from the blogosphere for about 4-5days, but u can send ur phone number and BB pin to ma fbk inbox (Chibuzo Unachukwu)and i can reply you from there. Ify i dont ever recommend diet without exercise, cos of a number of reasons, and d sooner you start the exercises, the quicker we can progress and the quicker you lose weight. i'll be away from the blogosphere for about 4-5days, but u can send ur phone number and BB pin to ma fbk inbox so we can continue the routines, and so i can give u an updated diet and workout routine.   20. Hi Chioma, It's really easy to lose 8kg, u can choose to do it in a month(quite stressful though), or you can do it in 2 months (very cool pace), tell me which pace you prefer and how often you would be willing to exercise daily.

  23. hi Anonymous, I'll advice alot of cardio exercises like jogging, skipping, and swimming (i'll do a post on swimming soon). These help to burn the layer of fat on the tummy, and also, u'll need to cut down on food intake and carbonated drinks so that the walls of your tummy can begin to reduce internally. Then you can do situps to firm the tummy muscles also.

I may start a weight-loss program for the month of June. It will be free but only on certain conditions that would be communicated here on my blog. Weightloss is difficult but possible.
