NEW WORKOUT ROUTINE!!!

Hi Lovelies, i've decided to add another workout routine to the previous one i gave. This one involve walking and jumping rope. Walking for 40mins twice a day will help you keep fit and help you lose weight, and i recommend it for this week.

Jumping rope is one of the cheapest and most convenient ways to lose weight. It was one of the major things i did to lose weight. The main thing you'll be needing is a skipping rope. The key to rope jumping is to start small, and as you get better, you start increasing the amount of jumps, and alternating your jumps, speeding it up etc.

The first thing you should do is get a skipping rope. You'd be surprised at how many crappy skipping ropes are out there. The right rope doesn't have to be expensive. The main thing to look out for is how freely the rope turns in the handle without twisting and getting caught up. Getting twisted and caught up will prevent you from actually enjoying the workout cos you'll keep stopping to untangle it. Don't go for the woolly or cloth ropes, because they are very light and won't rotate well. The best ropes are made of either straight plastic (commonly called a speed rope) or plastic beads. The best way to choose the correct length for you is to stand on the middle of the rope with both feet, the handles should reach to just under your arm pits. Shorter ropes are clumsy and will keep getting caught between your feet.

Learning to skip is all in the bounce. Make sure the heel of your foot doesn't touch the ground, bounce on the ball part of your feet. Dont try jumping too high, get into a steady rythm and enjoy your workout. i'd recommend doing 200 skips twice a day for beginners. You can keep increasing it as time goes on (i actually do up to 5000 skips a day when i want to, but i started with 500).

Start walking and skipping and tell me all about your experience in the comment section.
Looking forward to hearing from you all in the comment section. Be sure to follow my blog by clicking on the "FOLLOW THIS BLOG" on the right side of your screen. Ciao

    1. Hi linda, it wont take long if you are committed to it. As for the psychological changes, if you decide to lose weight and you accomplish it, apart from feeling good about yourself, it also helps your endurance, strength, will power, and determination. I feel really good about myself, and i love the way i look in clothes. hope i've answered your question? looking forward to hearing from you
