Hi everyone, these are questions I am repeatedly asked, wherever and whenever I tell my weightloss story. If I haven't answered yours here, please feel free to ask and I'll be sure to answer.

Q:  What diet did you go on to lose weight?
A:  I didn't go on any diet. I formulated my recipes and meal plans using a 1200 calorie a day limit.

Q:  What pills did you "drink" to lose weight?
A:  Sincerely I didn't drink all these funny and unnatural stuff that people take. I lost weight the natural way, which is by exercising and eating healthy.

Q:  Do you need to exercise on your diet?
A:  I always advice exercise because it reduces the risk of having loose skin especially if you aim to lose a lot of weight, it builds and firms your muscles and helps prevent muscle loss while losing weight, and it aids your determination and will power.

Q:  Where do you stay?
A:  I am based in Lagos

Q:  Are you still in a gym?
A:  No, I'm not, I work out 3-4 times a week on my own.

Q:  What is your favorite indoor cardio exercise.
A:  I don't know if I have a favorite one, but in dance a lot (when I have the time though), I skip thrice a week, and I do some interval training too.

Q:  Do you ever take breaks from working out?
A:  Yes of course I do, but during this time I make sure I eat healthy and I eat right.

Q:  I don't know where to start and I'm overweight. I need to lose this weight quickly, what do I do?
A:  I always advice people to start small, start with the basics, like walking, and reducing your daily calorie intake (you can contact me for calorie limited meals and recipes). Shop for comfy walking/jogging shoes, I love looking good when I work out, it inspires me. (check out basic stuff you'll need here). Don't be desperate, desperation isn't a plan, and as soon as it wears off, you'll be back to square 1.

Q:  Why don't u start a gym/fitness centre?
A:  I'm not there yet oh....lol

Q:  Drinking water alone gets boring, can I drink flavored water as an alternative?
A:  I drink flavored water, but if flavour my water myself with lemon, lime, pineapples etc. I try to stay away from carbonated drinks, artificial sweeteners and flavours.

Q:  What is this BMI thing, why is it important and How do I calculate my BMI?
A:  Knowing your BMI is a vital step in losing weight and keeping fit. It tells you whether you are Underweight, normal weight, overweight or obese.
BMI is an abbreviation for Body Mass Index. It's a way you ascertain an individual's body shape based on calculations involving weight and height. (Read more about it here). As for the calculation, you can check yours online right now by clicking here.

Q:  How often do you check your weighing scale?
A:  Every morning....lol

Q:  What happens when you binge or cheat on your meal plan?
A:  I schedule my binging too....lol. It's true. But if I eat above my calorie limit, I simply say " tomorrow is a new day". Then I go back to the meal plan with a new resolve to not let it happen again.

Q:  What detoxifier or system cleanser do you use?
A:  I don't drink artificial body cleansers oh. I use certain fruits and a lot of water to detox my system.
